The symposium ReclaiMEDland(scapes): Climate ecologies between adaptation, design and participation will take place June 19 starting at 15. 30. The location is the conference room of the OpenSpace in Matera, (Palazzo dell’ Annunziata, via Vittorio Veneto 1). The Symposium is the conclusion of an engagement process started last year by the Florida Institute for Built Environment Resilience (FIBER) of the University of Florida and the Fondazione ENI Enrico Mattei (FEEM). The two teams have collaborated along with stakeholders, experts, associations and citizens to build a shared vision towards climate adaptation for the two territories of Metaponto/Matera and Bassa Romagna/Ravenna.

The symposium aims to transfer knowledge and best practices for climate change mitigation and adaptation developed within the American context. The program’s definition will take place following the two workshops and with the informative input of stakeholders. Selected participants of the opening seminar and workshops will be invited to actively participate.​

The symposium will be streamed in a special episode of Disaster Deconstructed Podcast. ​Further details will be posted in January.
